When someone asks you a question, you tell them something, and either they or someone else says something that makes what you said seem so little which leads to an awkward moment.
For example:
personA: How was your day?
you: Tiring, I went through two classes back to back, which were both two hours long.
personb: really? I had four classes back to back today.
